… Dear Moving Into Music students, families and friends,
March found Melbourne grieving the loss of music mogul Michael Gudinski. At his memorial service dignitaries and stars were out in force. Tributes from home and abroad spoke in high raise of the man who Australian music and his beloved hometown Melbourne on the world map. We, too, acknowledge his contribution and are grateful for his legacy.
As March closes so does Term 1. Thanks, teachers and students, for a productive term of music. We trust you look forward to a well-earned break.
April brings Easter and the term break of two weeks. Term 2 Dates are here:

The Restoration of Melbourne’s live music scene continues. Live Concerts are often scaled back to meet with density restrictions. Live streams of concerts and performances are becoming more common place. This is the current reality.
We can provide confidence to our musicians in the face of continuing uncertainty … our support is vital to them.

The past week has reminded us all that we haven’t come through the Covid crisis.
Even though greater Brisbane has, today, been declared open for Easter the travel plans for many have been disrupted or even cancelled. We hope your plans are not caught up in this.
