Dear Moving Into Music students, families and friends,
As Founder and Principal of the music school for 30 years, I have decided the time has come for a new generation to lead Moving Into Music.
I have decided to hand over the reins at the end of June 2023 to Nicholas Young.
With six years at Moving Into Music, and service at several state and independent schools across Melbourne, Nicholas a music educator, performer and entrepreneur, is the perfect candidate to preserve the school’s legacy. Nicholas believes this to be an awesome opportunity. I am grateful that Nicholas is ready, willing and able to shoulder this responsibility and keep Moving into Music moving forward.
I shall still be closely connected to the school from mid-2023 to provide support and guidance to Nicholas and the team during the transition.
I would like to wish all of the staff and students the very best in their future musical endeavours.
Thank you all for your love and support over the years. It has been a privilege and pleasure to provide your musical education and to share your musical journeys.
