Linh Doan is an award winning piano teacher currently completing a Master of Teaching Performance at The University of Melbourne. She started her training in piano with Ms. Huong Hoang at the age of 4 in Vietnam and studied for 13 years at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Graduating with distinction, she received a scholarship to study at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA), Sydney where she later completed her Bachelor in Music Performance.
During her time in Sydney, she taught at several music schools, and mentored numerous students in their AMEB piano exams. Returning to Vietnam, she worked at the Vietnam Academy of Music as a piano teacher and piano accompanist. Linh also taught at the United Nations International School in Hanoi, and later opened her own music studio. She received a Trinity College Award for supporting the students who achieved the highest Trinity exam results in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
In late 2016, she received a scholarship to study piano performance for 9 months with Prof. Duffek Mihaly at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. In 2017-2018, three of her students attended international piano competitions in Rome, Vienna, and New York, achieving 1st and 2nd prize. Linh received a diploma for her excellence in teaching music from the American Protege International Competition at Carnegie Hall, New York.
Linh is currently accepting students at our studios in Walpole at, Kew.
