Just in … from our piano teacher Nicholas Young … the ticketing for these two upcoming October events is now open and selling fast – so please do not delay.
It’s your chance to support and enjoy the talents of three of our Moving Into Music staff.
Nicholas firstly, with his trio Ensemble Francaix  – a program of beloved favourites from the classical greats as well as new composers … and then to round off your weekend on Saturday night at Fed, Square with Nicholas’ brainchild Sinister Creative which includes MIM piano teacher Yi-Ling Ng and MIM guitar teacher Toby Mach in ensemble and rock-band mode, book in to see Super Effective celebrating the spectacular world of Pokémon.

Nicholas writes:

“Since 2017 I have performed in a woodwind piano trio with oboist Emmanuel Cassimatis and bassoonist Matthew Kneale, who are outstanding musicians of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria. Together on Australia’s leading digital concert platform, Australian Digital Concert Hall, we will perform transcriptions of Bartók and Mozart along with new music by Ben Hoadley and Naomi Brown. As an unlisted addition to our Bartók performance, I will play Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, a popular work often studied by piano and violin student.”
