FUN FACT: Gulgong is an epicentre for guitars – it hosts the Gulgong Guitar Festival. At the inaugural festival our very own guitar teacher Kieran Colton, then aged 15 years, won the guitar competition performing his own composition. The prize was a Gulgong guitar built and donated by Gerard Gilet – the VERY one, Kieran was using at the lesson when Anthony disclosed his plans to go to Gulgong to build a guitar. What a coincidence!
